Nutridude’s Hawaiian Tofu Pizza – 2012 Soyfoods Month Second Place Winner

  1. 1 block of extra firm tofu, pressed for 30 minutes or more, drained and cut into 6 large slices
  2. 1 cup marinara sauce
  3. 1 cup diced pineapple
  4. 1 cup Daiya Mozzarella Style Shreds
  1. Press water out of tofu using TofuXpress for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Slice tofu into 6 pieces (cut to make the widest/thinnest slices possible).
  4. Lightly spray or oil a non-stick baking sheet.
  5. Arrange tofu pieces on the baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and flip tofu pieces. Evenly distribute the marinara sauce on top of the flipped tofu slices. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and evenly distribute the pineapple and Daiya shreds, bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the Daiya has sufficiently melted.
  8. Remove from oven and transfer to plates and serve.
