Greetings TofuXpress Family,

We hope you are enjoying your TofuXPress Gourmet Food and Tofu Press! This section of our website is here for you. You can browse for easy tofu recipes and pressed tofu recipes and vegan cheese recipes.

These delicious and easy tofu recipes can be sorted by menu type and by ingredients using the search window to the right. Step-by-step directions will help you see how easy it is to grill tofu, bake tofu, and marinate tofu.

There are also recipes that work with other vegetables and ingredients using the TofuXpress.

We believe that if people make just small changes to their diet big things can happen. Not only can you help yourself be healthier, you can also help the environment. We hope that these tofu recipes, along with the TofuXpress, can influence others to take a step towards health.

Ingredients
  1. 15 oz Extra-Firm Tofu, pressed with TofuXpress for 30 minutes or more, drained, crumbled
  2. 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  3. 1 tsp Bragg’s Liquid Amino’s
  4. 1 TBS MatoZest or other tomato based no-salt seasoning
  5. 1 TBS fresh thyme (reserve 1 tsp for step 8)
  6. 1/2 TBS fresh rosemary (reserve 1/2 tsp for step 8)
  7. 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  8. 1 onion, diced
  9. 4 oz mushrooms, diced
  10. 8 sun-dried tomatoes, diced, soaked in 1/2 cup of water for 30 minutes (reserve water for step 2)

  12. 4 garlic cloves, minced
  13. 1 1/2 TBS Dijon mustard

Ingredients
  1. Xfirm tofu brick (drained with your TofuXpress)
  2. 1 Brown Onion
  3. 2 TBS Chili Powder
  4. Avocado
  5. Diced Tomatoes ( w/salt and pepper)
  6. 1/2 cup of your favorite Salsa
  7. Gouda Cheese
  8. Hand made Corn Tortillas
  9. Vegetarian Refried Beans
  10. Fresh Romaine Lettuce
Instructions
  1. Dice Brown Onion and cook in olive oil
  2. Throw in tofu after forking it (looks like scrambled eggs)
  3. Add Chili Powder, and then salsa. Line heated tortillas with sliced Gouda Cheese. Add your cooked tofu mix and top with fresh diced tomato and Avocado. Serve with a slab of beans and Enjoy:)

Ingredients
  1. 1 block of extra firm tofu, pressed for 30 minutes or more, drained and cut into 6 large slices
  2. 1 cup marinara sauce
  3. 1 cup diced pineapple
  4. 1 cup Daiya Mozzarella Style Shreds
Instructions
  1. Press water out of tofu using TofuXpress for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Slice tofu into 6 pieces (cut to make the widest/thinnest slices possible).
  4. Lightly spray or oil a non-stick baking sheet.
  5. Arrange tofu pieces on the baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes.

  2. 1/3 c orange juice
  3. 3 tbsp peanut butter
  4. 3 tbsp sesame oil
  5. 3 tbsp agave (or honey/maple syrup or combo)

  1. 1 14 ounce water-packed container of organic tofu. I like Wildwood sprouted.

  3. 1 tablespoon of tamari (or soy sauce)
  4. 1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce (or more to taste)

  1. Moroccan Tagine Stew Mix (by Urban Accents, sold at Sur La Table; or substitute another Moroccan spice blend that contains coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper; no salt).

BBQ Baked Tofu

This is actually a really flavorful tofu recipe that even those staunch meat eaters in your household will probably like, but of course you could use the same recipe for barbecue chicken or pork by simply adjusting the cook time accordingly. I suggest doing half (tofu) and half, so they can at least try a bite. It might sway them to stick with the low in fat, high in protein and calcium tofu next time.

  1. 1 brick (1 lb) Firm or Extra Firm Tofu Nasoya brand
  2. 12 Lasagna noodles (preferably Gluten-free, though harder to work with)
  3. 1 medium Sweet Onion, chopped
  4. 1 medium Red Spanish Onion, chopped
  5. 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
  6. 1 10 oz box frozen chopped Spinach, thawed

  1. 2 Bricks Tofu, 365 Brand, Extra Firm.
  2. 6 leaves Red Swiss Chard, thlnly sliced horizontally
  3. 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  4. 1 large Yellow Onion, coarsely chopped
  5. 3 tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika (McCormick brand is nice)
  7. Sea Salt
  8. Black Pepper
  9. Heart-shaped cookie cutters
  10. Cookie Sheet or Wax Paper
